“The Wildtracks is the songwriting and band project of Jessica Marlowe. Before forming the Wildtracks, Jessica was the singer and co- writer of the Bristol-based experimental band Mooz. Jessica also writes, composes and produces music for film and theatre as well as working as a sound artist. After writing solo for seven years, the Wildtracks were formed in London in 2009 and include Boris Exton (keyboards, fx and loop pedals) and Michael Ho (drums).

After years of perfecting their songs through live performances, the Wildtracks have finally recorded their debut album, produced by Dillip Harris (Micachu and the Shapes) and Richard Whitehead. The songs for the album, entitled ‘i Bring you Here’ were recorded in Berlin at Radio Transmission Records studio, as well as in Jessica’s studio in London.

Jessica cites film soundtracks as a great influence on her approach to song writing, drawing from experience as well as the imaginative and fictional. The mood of the 7-track release is one of yearning, loss, hope and imaginings. Jessica’s eclectic influences include the film music of Burt Bacharach, Bulgarian music, Kate Bush, PJ Harvey, Talk Talk, spiritual song, Rock n Roll and Blues.”
